Guus came to Cat in Need with his mother and two brothers when they were very young. The first few days, the kittens were bottle-fed because their mother did not have enough milk. After a few days, their mother had enough milk and the kittens were strong enough to drink on their own. Then they went to a foster home. Guus is the leader of the three brothers. He was the first at everything and was the first to try new things. A true explorer who also loves attention and playing. At the foster home, the three brothers grew up with other cats, dogs, and children. They will need to get used to another cat, but it is expected that it will be fine afterwards. They still find dogs a bit scary. They can get along well with children. We expect they will adapt well to different situations. Guus would like to move in with one of his brothers, or with his mother Gina (see adult cats).

Guus kwam met zijn moeder en 2 broertjes bij Kat in Nood toen ze nog heel klein waren. De eerste dagen zijn de kittens met de fles bijgevoerd omdat moeder niet voldoende melk had. Na een paar dagen had moeder genoeg melk, en waren de kittens ook voldoende aangesterkt om zelf te drinken. Toen zij ze naar een gastgezin gegaan. Guus is het haantje de voorste van de 3 broertjes. Hij was met alles het eerste en durfde ook als eerste van alles. Een echte ontdekkingsreiziger die ook erg van aandacht en spelen houdt. Bij het gastgezin zijn de drie broertjes opgegroeid met andere katten, honden en kinderen. Aan een andere kat zouden ze even moeten wennen, maar de verwachting is dat het daarna prima zal gaan. Honden vinden ze nu nog wel wat spannend. Ze kunnen prima samen met kinderen. Wij verwachten dat ze zich in verschillende situaties goed aan kunnen passen. Guus zou graag samen met één van zijn broertjes, of samen met zijn moeder Gina (zie onder volwassen katten) willen verhuizen.
