The ca. 2012 born twin goat-hare zonked with Luna and Kleo to the Animal Life Farm on 14.08.2014. The rabbits were rescued from the association "Hopeful Hands for Animals e.V." from poor husbandry in too small cages. Emily was very curious but did not like to be touched. We accepted this natural behavior as a flight animal and let her simply be a rabbit. Fresh food was initially foreign to Emily and was not touched by her. Somewhere along the way, she eagerly waited for her herbs, fruit, and vegetables and quickly picked out the best pieces. Unfortunately, Emily passed away from us on 17. June 2017, in the morning we found her dead in the stable. She was not sick, as the vet was there still 3 days prior. Emily had a great time with us and we will always remember her.

Die ca. 2012 geborene Widder-Häsin zog am 14.08.2014 zusammen mit Luna und Kleo auf den Tierlebenshof. Die Kaninchen wurden vom Verein „Hoffnungsvolle Hände für Tiere e.V.“ aus schlechter Haltung in viel zu kleinen Käfigen gerettet. Emily war sehr neugierig, mochte aber nicht angefasst werden. Wir akzeptierten dieses natürliche Verhalten als Fluchttier und ließen sie einfach Kaninchen sein. Frischfutter war Emily anfangs fremd. Es wurde von ihr nicht angerührt. Irgendwann wartete sie schon aufgeregt auf ihre Kräuter, Obst und Gemüse und suchte sich schnell die besten Stückchen raus. Leider ist Emily am 17. Juni 2017 von uns gegangen, am Morgen haben wir sie tot im Stall gefunden. Krank war sie nicht, denn noch 3 Tage vorher war der Tierarzt da. Emily hatte eine tolle Zeit bei uns und wir werden uns immer an sie erinnern.
