Our lovely Nymphicus hollandicus hen Henriette is looking for a loving, responsible, and above all, species-appropriate home. Henriette is hand-tame and trusting of humans. She enjoys the contact with her caregivers. However, the human in her new home should not replace her fellow species. Henriette will therefore only be placed with other Nymphicus hollandicus, as Nymphicus hollandicus are highly social flock birds and need daily contact and interaction with their fellow species to feel comfortable in the long term. Solitary keeping is not an option for Henriette. For her new home, we are looking for people who have thoroughly researched the needs of Nymphicus hollandicus before acquiring or taking over and are willing to meet these needs in the long term. This includes, in particular, sufficient space for movement and daily flight. Nymphicus hollandicus are active and energetic birds that must regularly use their wings extensively. A large, wide, and well-structured aviary or a correspondingly large bird room, as well as safe free flight, are therefore important prerequisites. For Henriette, we are looking for people who are not just looking for a hand-tame bird, but are willing to take responsibility for an animal with its natural needs. Unsere hübsche Nymphensittich-Dame Henriette sucht ein liebevolles, verantwortungsbewusstes und vor allem artgerechtes Zuhause. Henriette ist handzahm und dem Menschen gegenüber zutraulich. Sie genießt den Kontakt zu ihren Bezugspersonen. Dennoch soll der Mensch in ihrem neuen Zuhause keinesfalls den Artgenossen ersetzen. Henriette wird daher ausschließlich zu anderen Nymphensittichen vermittelt, denn Nymphensittiche sind ausgesprochen soziale Schwarmvögel und benötigen den täglichen Kontakt und Austausch mit Artgenossen, um sich dauerhaft wohlzufühlen. Eine Einzelhaltung kommt für Henriette nicht infrage. Für ihr neues Zuhause wünschen wir uns Menschen, die sich vor der Anschaffung beziehungsweise Übernahme umfassend mit den Bedürfnissen von Nymphensittichen auseinandergesetzt haben und bereit sind, diesen auch langfristig gerecht zu werden. Dazu gehört insbesondere ausreichend Platz für Bewegung und täglichen Freiflug. Nymphensittiche sind aktive und bewegungsfreudige Vögel, die ihre Flügel regelmäßig ausgiebig nutzen müssen. Eine möglichst große, breite und gut strukturierte Voliere beziehungsweise ein entsprechend großes Vogelzimmer sowie ausreichend sicherer Freiflug sind daher wichtige Voraussetzungen.
