Mit ihren etwa 9 Jahren ist Hera eine ruhige, ausgeglichene und sehr angenehme Hündin, die das entspannte Leben zu schätzen weiß. Vermutlich steckt in ihr ein Herdenschutzhund-Mischling, was sich in ihrer gelassenen, eigenständigen Art widerspiegelt. Hera ist nicht ängstlich, läuft gut an der Leine und genießt gemütliche Spaziergänge ebenso wie ihre ausgedehnten Ruhepausen. Mit anderen Hunden ist sie verträglich, braucht diese aber nicht unbedingt – auch als Einzelhund fühlt sie sich wohl. Katzen sollten nicht im Haushalt leben.
