Hexe__ was brought to us because she has multiple times attacked and injured her owner. At first, she also showed little cooperative behavior and reacted defensively to human presence. However, things have looked different recently. __Hexe__ has adapted to the circumstances and is slowly learning to trust. She now also accepts people in close proximity, enjoys calm affection, and eats treats peacefully from the hand. In a quiet home with enough space for her to retreat when she feels insecure, further progress would likely be noticeable. For __Hexe__, we are looking for people who can give her enough time to settle in, understand when to give her space, and are patient in winning her trust. Additionally, since she has little interest in fellow animals and feels uncomfortable in their presence, she needs a home where she can be an individual cat. However, for example, a large farm with sufficient options for retreat might be a conceivable exception. Other pets and children should not live in __Hexe__'s new home. This animal was surrendered to the shelter.

Hexe wurde bei uns abgegeben, weil sie ihre Besitzerin mehrfach attackiert und verletzt hat. Auch bei uns zeigte sie sich anfangs wenig kooperativ und reagierte abwehrend auf menschliche Anwesenheit. Inzwischen sieht das etwas anders aus. Hexe hat sich den Umständen entsprechend eingelebt und lernt langsam Vertrauen zu fassen. So akzeptiert sie Menschen nun auch in unmittelbarer Nähe, freut sich über ruhige Zuwendung und frisst Leckerlis friedfertig aus der Hand. In einem ruhigen Zuhause mit ausreichend Platz, den sie nutzen kann um sich bei Unsicherheit zurück zu ziehen, würden sich sicher weitere Fortschritte verzeichnen lassen. Für Hexe suchen wir also Menschen, die ihr genügend Zeit geben anzukommen, einschätzen können wann man ihr Raum lassen sollte und geduldig ihr Vertrauen gewinnen möchten. Weil sie außerdem wenig mit Artgenossen anfangen kann und sich in deren Nähe eher unwohl fühlt, sucht sie ein Zuhause, in dem sie Einzelkatze sein kann. Eventuell wäre aber beispielsweise ein großer Bauernhof o.ä. mit genügend Ausweichmöglichkeiten eine denkbare Ausnahme. Andere Haustiere und Kinder sollten ebenfalls nicht in Hexes neuem Zuhause wohnen.
