Homer is back with us after 2 months of adoption. He's a very stressed dog both indoors and outdoors, highly attentive to the slightest sounds and movements. He arrived very thin and having lacked food, so he may show resource guarding behavior around his bowl or treats. Given his many fears, Homer needs a stable, calm home with outdoor access and minimal foot traffic. Despite everything, he's a very sweet and cuddly boy! He must be the only animal in the household and cannot share his home with children. Professional dog trainer support will be strongly recommended for his adoption to help work on his fears. He also has fragile health with chronic ear infections, atopy, and food allergies. Regular veterinary follow-up will be recommended. Homer will require time and investment.
