He’s very energetic, sweet, and cuddly—loves to ride in the car, accepts cats, but is NOT compatible with other dogs. Dog grandpa Horsti is looking for a loving home! Get to know Horsti, our little, lively senior dog! Despite his advanced age, Horsti still has plenty of energy and zest for life. He loves exploring the world with his nose and enjoys long walks in nature as much as he wants. He makes it perfectly clear when he’s had enough: he’ll simply lie down in front of you, look you straight in the eye, and bark softly. Then he’ll happily turn around and head back home. Although Horsti’s eyesight isn’t what it used to be, he more than makes up for it with his lively and spirited personality. Sometimes he barks a lot, but on other days he’s rather calm. Another highlight for this little adventurer is riding in the car. Horsti always looks forward to a little drive and is a totally relaxed passenger. When he gets regular outdoor time, he even stays house-trained—but occasionally there might be a little accident now and then, which is completely understandable for a dog of his age. Horsti is looking for a loving home where he can receive lots of attention and have plenty of opportunities to explore his surroundings. Trotz seines fortgeschrittenen Alters hat Horsti noch jede Menge Energie und Lebensfreude. Er liebt es, die Welt mit seiner Nase zu entdecken und genießt Spaziergänge durch die Natur, so lange wie er es möchte. Er zeigt klar und deutlich wenn er keine Lust mehr hat, dann stellt er sich vor einen, schaut dich an und bellt. Er möchte dann gerne zurück. Horsti ist zwar nicht mehr der Schärfste im Sehen, aber dafür macht er das mit seinem lebhaften Wesen wett. Manchmal bellt er viel, aber an anderen Tagen ist er eher ruhig.
