She was discovered on the street – with a scar on her neck, telling the story that she likely spent her previous life only on a short leash. But Hortelã does not give up! She is fearless, open, and immediately warms up to everyone. Other dogs leave her cold, and she shows a relaxed attitude towards cats (as long as they don't share her food!). She is a "raw diamond" who still has a lot to learn. Hortelã wishes for a family with patience and time. As she does not like to be alone, a home would be ideal where she can initially have a lot of company. She needs people who can show her how wonderful life in a home can be with love.
