IKER y TARZAN

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Senior · 11 years

These two puppies have lived together since forever, but misfortune has caused them to lose the family where they have received attention, care, and affection. One owner passes away and the remaining one, due to age, finds it impossible to continue caring for them. But they are already two older dogs. Iker is 11 years old and Tarzán is 12, their entire lives being faithful and sharing love, and now they have no home, they are in the shelter, inside a pen without understanding what has happened and why they don't come back for them. We take care of them with great care, but nothing can replace the lost home or the home they deserve for the happy and confident years they have left. Both are very good, very calm, very noble, they go well in the car, on walks, friendly with everyone, calm at the vet... they are perfect dogs. They don't deserve to end up like this. A joint adoption would be ideal, they are always together like brothers, now they support each other more than ever. As older dogs, the association accepts special adoption conditions. Do you want to be their family, you won't regret it!!!!

ES·Show original

About IKER y TARZAN

What life with IKER y TARZAN looks like

IKER y TARZAN is a medium-sized senior mixed breed dog waiting at Naturaleza y Animales in Spain.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting IKER y TARZAN, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about IKER y TARZAN?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Naturaleza y Animales handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw IKER y TARZAN on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt IKER y TARZAN if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Naturaleza y Animales will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is IKER y TARZAN already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if IKER y TARZAN isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Naturaleza y Animales early rather than rehoming privately; they know IKER y TARZAN and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
