Well. 2024 Weight 39 kg Gmina Zduny neutering Yes Other dogs Yes IMPAS is a wonderful, majestic dog, who was born around 2024 and weighs about 39 kg. Although he is a large dog, there is tremendous calmness, gentleness and friendly energy in his heart. He is a true giant with a child's soul – gentle, curious about the world and very sociable. This charming dog can walk nicely on a leash, enjoys walks and contact with people. Despite his size, he doesn't pull – rather he adjusts to the caregiver's pace. In a new home, he will be a devoted friend – one who makes sure no one is ever lonely. IMPAS gets along well with other dogs. He is balanced and calm, doesn't seek conflicts, doesn't impose himself – he behaves like a gentleman. He will certainly bring a lot of good, calmness and joy to a new home. We are looking for a responsible home for Impas – it can be both an apartment and a house with a garden (with fencing).

About IMPAS

What life with IMPAS looks like

IMPAS is a young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne in 99-423.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting IMPAS, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about IMPAS?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw IMPAS on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt IMPAS if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is IMPAS already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if IMPAS isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Animal Sos Psiakowo Centrum Adopcyjne early rather than rehoming privately; they know IMPAS and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
