Inari

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Inari, Maki, and Nigiri were abandoned in a hot, sealed sack outside a Hungarian bar. Our local partners rescued them and brought them to our partner shelter, where they received medical care. The three puppies have skin issues, likely from the stress. They are now receiving good food, love, and skin supplements. Their fur should grow back soon. Inari has fully recovered from the ordeal and shows her wonderful personality every day. She is described by her rescuers as the sweetest puppy in the world. As soon as playtime is over, Inari seeks human contact, snuggling into her caregivers' arms with a deep, satisfied sigh, as if she had always belonged there. We are looking for a loving family to show Inari the joys of dog life. Born in June 2026, she is still a puppy and would be ideal for the next transport in October, when she would be the perfect age to adapt to new experiences. Inari will likely remain small and manageable. If you would like to adopt Inari and give her a new start, please contact us by message or phone. As always, we remind you that a dog from international rescue needs time, patience, and a loving home. New experiences, routines, and bonds should grow in peace. Those who are willing to take this journey together will be rewarded with a deep connection. Inari is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, vet-checked, has an EU pet passport, and will be transferred with a contract only to loving hands. The handover could take place in Berlin or Stuttgart, depending on who falls in love with her and wants to give her a forever home.

About Inari

What life with Inari looks like

Inari is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen in Ketzin.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Inari, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Inari?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Inari on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Inari if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Inari already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Inari isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with animals care - Tierschutz ohne Grenzen early rather than rehoming privately; they know Inari and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
