I am Irene, a sweet young white cat. I am a fighter. My siblings and I were born on the street, at a car wash. It was not a suitable place for us cats, but our mom didn't know what else to do. I was the most timid of all. Then my siblings got sick one by one. Someone noticed us, but it was too late for my siblings, they are now in cat heaven and don't feel pain anymore. I was the only one who didn't get sick. Since I was the only one left and it was too dangerous at the car wash, I was caught in a cat trap. I had skin injuries, but otherwise I was fine. Now I'm waiting on a warm foster home for a real home. My skin injuries are healed and I'm slowly gaining trust in humans. I let my caretaker Manuela pet me, I knew she had a good heart. I get along well with the other cats on my foster home. That's why I really want a suitable companion in my future home. I could also bring a friend from here with me and travel together to you. Many other lovely cats are waiting for a home here. And each of them deserves it so much. Just ask my caretaker who is the best match for me. I was spayed and have already had my first vaccinations against cat flu and distemper, I'm dewormed and de-fleaed and if I travel to you I'll get a microchip and a rabies vaccination. I'll also be tested for FIV and FeLV. You can read all of this in my EU pet passport. Then my caretaker will contact you and you can discuss everything else.

Ist dem Menschen gegenüber am Anfang etwas scheu. Braucht Geduld und Liebe. Handicap: keins Hallo, ich bin die weiße Irene. Eine ganz liebe junge Katze. Und eine kleine Kämpferin. Miene Geschwister und ich wurden auf der Straße geboren. Und zwar an einer Autowaschanlage. Keine geeignete Unterkunft für uns Katzen, aber unser Mama wusste sich damals wohl nicht besser zu helfen. Ich war die ängstlichste von allen. Dann wurden meine Geschwister nach und nach krank. Jemand bemerkte uns, aber meinen Geschwistern war leider nicht mehr zu helfen, sie sind jetzt im Katzenhimmel und haben keine Schmerzen mehr. Wie durch ein Wunder wurde ich als einzige nicht krank. Da ich nun die einzige hier war und es zu gefährlich an der Waschanlage ist, hat man mich mit einer Katzenfalle eingefangen. Ich hatte Blessuren an der Haut, aber sonst war ich fit. Nun warte ich auf einer warmen Pflegestelle auf ein richtiges Zuhause. Meine Hautblessuren sind ausgeheilt und ich fasse langsam Vertrauen zum Menschen. Von der Tierschützerin Manuela lasse ich mich schon streicheln, da habe ich gleich gemerkt, dass sie ein gutes Herz hat. Mit den anderen Katzen hier auf meiner Pflegestelle verstehe ich mich gut. Deshalb möchte ich in meinem künftigen Zuhause unbedingt einen passenden Artgenossen haben. Denn alleine ohne Artgenossen würde ich sehr einsam sein. Ich könnte auch eine Freundin von hier mitbringen und wir reisen gemeinsam zu dir. Hier warten noch sehr viele liebe Katzen auf ein Zuhause. Und jede von ihnen hat es so sehr verdient. Frag einfach meine Vermittlerin wer am besten zu mir passt. Ich wurde kastriert und habe schon meine Erstimpfungen gegen Katzenschnupfen und -seuche erhalten, bin entwurmt und entfloht und wenn ich zu dir reise erhalte ich noch einen Mikrochip und eine Tollwutimpfung. Auch werde ich noch auf FIV und FelV getestet. Das kannst du dann alles in meinem EU-Heimtierausweis nachlesen.
