The brothers Ivo and Ivan came to the animal shelter with their mother as foundlings. After a quarantine period, they were vaccinated and were allowed to move into the cattery. Problems in the mouth cavities were detected in both cats. A swab test came back positive for caliciviruses. At the moment, they are doing well and do not yet require treatment. Ivo and Ivan get along well with other cats but show little interest in them. When other cats come to them, they are happy to cuddle and play. Ivo is more reserved and keeps to himself, while Ivan is always eager to be around. We are looking for a shared home for the two or separate homes with other cats, suitable for apartment living. A later secure release is possible. Children or additional fellow animals are also no problem. Since their mother is a Scottish Fold and Ivan shows typical traits of this breed, potential future veterinary costs should be considered. Our animal caretakers are happy to provide more information. This cat needs outdoor access.

Die Brüder Ivo und Ivan kamen zusammen mit ihrer Mutter als Fundtiere ins Tierheim. Nach einer Quarantänezeit wurden sie geimpft und durften ins Katzenhaus ziehen. Bei beiden Katzen wurden Probleme in der Maulhöhle festgestellt. Ein Abstrich ergab einen positiven Befund auf Caliciviren. Im Moment kommen sie gut damit zurecht und brauchen noch keine Behandlung. Ivo und Ivan verstehen sich gut mit anderen Katzen, zeigen aber wenig Interesse an ihnen. Wenn andere Katzen zu ihnen kommen, kuscheln und spielen sie gern. Ivo ist eher zurückhaltend und für sich, während Ivan gerne überall dabei ist. Für die beiden suchen wir ein gemeinsames Zuhause oder auch getrennt mit anderen Katzen in Wohnungshaltung. Späterer sicherer Freigang ist möglich. Auch Kinder oder weitere Artgenossen sind kein Problem.
