Doch trotz all seiner Ängste und der schweren Zeiten, die er durchlebt hat, zeigte er eine unglaubliche Stärke: Er bettelte bei einer freundlichen Familie um Futter, um nicht aufzugeben. Diese Menschen haben ihm geholfen, ihn in die Tierklinik gebracht, wo er die nötige Pflege, Liebe und Hoffnung erhielt, um wieder zu Kräften zu kommen. Mittlerweile hat sich Jariro erholt, ist ins Tierheim gezogen und zeigt immer mehr sein wahres Wesen: einen neugierigen, lebensfrohen Hund, der die Welt wieder entdecken möchte.
