The approximately 1.5-year-old Jasper has been hanging around a neighbor for some time. When it turned out this boy didn't have a home, Jasper came to live with us at the shelter. Now that he's recovered from his adventures, he would like to have his own home where he can live. Do you have a spot for Jasper? This is Jasper. We think our Jasper is really handsome. With his actually somewhat large ears and his slightly helpless facial expression, he easily melts all our hearts. But this lovely boy is still a bit uncertain. He likes to get to know you a little first before he trusts you. He loves attention and comes happily and eagerly towards you with an upright tail for a cuddle. But because he also finds it a bit exciting, it's good to watch his body language carefully. Does his tail move restlessly? Then a short break is a good idea! If you don't do that, he will clearly show you. This nice man is gentle, and we think there's a lovely cat in him. And because he's still fairly young, we expect that with some patience and love, he will gain more confidence and become more secure. Sometimes he even lies on your lap for a while, but playing is also important because Jasper really enjoys it. He loves to fish from a safe place, such as a play tunnel, while a feather is being moved. Then he's wonderfully enthusiastic! De ongeveer anderhalf jaar oude Jasper zwierf al enige tijd bij een buurtbewoner rond. Toen bleek dat deze jongen geen eigen huisje had, kwam Jasper bij ons in het asiel logeren. En nu hij bijgekomen is van zijn avonturen, wil hij graag een eigen huisje waar hij mag wonen. Heb jij een plekje voor Jasper? Dit is Jasper Wij vinden onze Jasper echt een knappe knul. Met zijn eigenlijk iets te grote oren en zijn beetje hulpeloze gezichtsuitdrukking laat hij al onze harten moeiteloos smelten. Maar deze lieve boy is nog wel wat onzeker. Hij leert je dan ook graag eerst een beetje kennen voordat hij je vertrouwt. Hij vindt aandacht hartstikke leuk en komt met rechtopstaande staart vrolijk en verwachtingsvol op je af voor een aaitje. Maar omdat hij het ook nog wat spannend vindt, is het goed om zijn lichaamstaal goed in de gaten te houden. Gaat zijn staart onrustig zwiepen? Dan is een kleine pauze een goed idee! Doe je dat niet, dan kan hij dit duidelijk laten merken. Deze mooie man is goudeerlijk en we denken dat er een lieve kat in hem schuilt. En omdat hij nog vrij jong is, verwachten we dat hij met wat geduld en liefde vanzelf meer vertrouwen zal krijgen en zekerder zal worden. Soms ligt hij zelfs al even op schoot, maar spelen blijft ook belangrijk want dat vindt Jasper erg leuk. Hij vindt het prachtig om vanuit een veilig plekje, zoals bijvoorbeeld een speeltunnel, te hengelen naar een veer die wordt bewogen. Dan is hij heerlijk fanatiek!
