Jazmina

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 8 years

Jazmina is from the Vinni cat colony, where he and other strays sought shelter under the main roof. He was the most active of the three kittens. For a long time, he didn't want any contact with people, hid himself under the blanket in the corner of the cage and even refused to eat during the day. Fortunately, morning tracks of his nighttime activities could be seen, which gave hope that things would eventually get better. When Jazmina was moved to the cat room with other kittens, he immediately chose a spot at the top of a high climbing tree, from where he would occasionally stick his head out and carefully observe his surroundings. Although he now moves around more in the room and also sleeps elsewhere, this remains his favorite spot. Jazmin likes to play with closed doors, then she immediately jumps out of her nest and is ready to chase others around the house. Jazmin still has problems with complete trust in people, but she has already started to show interest in visitors and no longer hides in her nest. Definitely things would progress much faster at home if she is individually worked with and encouraged. Of course, this requires time and patience. If you feel that you are ready to offer Jazmin a home, please let me know by sending an email to the email address .

ET·Show original

Tekkis huvi? Täida ankeet ja paku kodu!

About Jazmina

What life with Jazmina looks like

Jazmina is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Gabrieli Loomade Elu MTÜ in Estonia.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇪Adopting from Estonia

Frequently asked

Adopting Jazmina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jazmina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Gabrieli Loomade Elu MTÜ handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jazmina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jazmina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Gabrieli Loomade Elu MTÜ will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Jazmina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jazmina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Gabrieli Loomade Elu MTÜ early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jazmina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ET). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
