adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Jenni has found a home! Her story: May we introduce her? This is Jenni, the sweet sister of Benji and Noah! At just three months old, measuring about 30 cm and weighing 5 kg, this little dainty lady is the smallest in the litter—but a very special one. Her short fur shines in a captivating color combination: bright white and warm chocolate-brown tones—a little beauty! Her character is as delicate as her appearance: Jenni is initially a bit reserved and shy. She prefers to observe from a safe distance. But once her trust is won, she warms up and shows her true nature: she is very cuddly, clingy, and totally uncomplicated. She is, like all puppies, playful and energetic, shares a close bond with her brothers and her mom, and seeks a person who will give her security. Jenni is very food-oriented, which makes building trust and training a game! Collars and leashes are still new to her, but her food love is the best motivator. She was found together with her siblings by the roadside and is now in safety at a foster home near Zalau. Now she is ready for her biggest adventure: her own home! Jenni still has her puppyhood and adolescence ahead of her. During this time, Jenni will test her limits and will need your consistent but loving upbringing. It is important to inform yourself about this phase in advance and to accompany the young lady patiently, lovingly, and positively through this exciting phase. Because this phase is crucial for the development of her personality. Jenni travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated, together with her EU pet passport, to her new family. After a positive But also a foster home would be a good start for the little one to further build her trust. Thank you, Claudia B., for giving Jenni her beautiful name and thus her identity. Status: 14.11.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Stand: 14.11.2025

About Jenni

What life with Jenni looks like

Jenni is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Jenni, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jenni?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jenni on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jenni if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Jenni already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jenni isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jenni and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
