Jester2011 | Piebald | Gypsy Cob | Under 15.2hhAs one of our earliest rescues, Jester represents a stark reminder of what chaos (and cost), the horse crisis brought to the public, Constabularies, Local Authorities and ultimately Welfare Charities like ours, over a very long period of time.There are undoubtedly fewer ponies to be found in odd locations these days – but the problem still remains.Jester has been one of the lucky ones and his future is forever secure with us.Your sponsorship not only helps cover the cost of caring for and schooling horses and ponies until we find their perfect partners – but also means we have the chance to step in if needed, helping others abandoned just like him.The story so far...Jester came into our care as a result of a call from Cleveland Police.He was rising two years of age, shivering and wet but in fairly good health, given that he had been living on a Tesco Car Park!Cleveland Police bailiffs were unable to attend and as members of the public (and the ponies of course), were at risk of serious accident.He came to us with an equally handsome, steel grey pal – who we called Dominic. Both ponies were friendly, sensible and quickly settled in. So,
