Molly is an inquisitive hamster, aged around 8-month-old hamster with a big personality. She spends her time exploring every corner of her enclosure, creating intricate burrows, and investigating anything new that appears in her environment. Her curious nature makes her a joy to watch, and she approaches each day with enthusiasm and confidence. Like all hamsters, Molly thrives when she has plenty of space to express her natural behaviours. A suitable enclosure should provide a minimum floor space of around 100 cm x 50 cm, although larger is always better. Hamsters love to run, dig, climb, and explore, so generous space helps keep them happy and active. Deep substrate is essential for Molly's wellbeing. Hamsters naturally create tunnels and nesting chambers, so we recommend at least 20 cm of suitable bedding throughout the enclosure, with deeper areas wherever possible. Enrichment plays a vital role in keeping Molly stimulated. She enjoys tunnels, cork logs, chew toys, hideaways, sand baths, and opportunities to forage for food. Rotating toys and enrichment items regularly helps keep her environment interesting and encourages natural behaviours. A correctly sized exercise wheel is also important. The wheel should allow her to run with a straight back to prevent discomfort and support her long-term health. Wheels need to be much bigger than people expect. A minimum size of 12 inches and up. Molly would suit a home that appreciates the unique charm of small pets and understands the importance of providing appropriate housing, enrichment, and daily care. In return, she will offer endless entertainment with her energetic explorations and impressive burrowing skills.
