Jet &amp

Mixed Breed · Female · Baby · 10 months

A delightful pair of young male guinea pigs seeking a forever home together: This fun-loving duo is ready to bring joy, zoomies, and squeaks to their new family. Meet Jet and Nimbus, a charming pair of young boys who have become firm best friends! Jet is a handsome 10-month-old long-haired boy with dark grey fluff, and Nimbus is a cheerful 1-year-old grey and white boy. After both finding themselves in need of companionship, they were paired up at HART and immediately bonded over shared love of snacks and playful games. They are looking for a home where they can stay together as a bonded pair. This happy pair of piggies brings a wonderful mix of character, charm and lively energy to their foster home! Jet originally came into rescue after his previous owners were misinformed by his breeder about his sex, assuming he was a girl. However, being a boy, he found himself on his own and in need of a buddy to share his life with. Once in HART’s care he was introduced him to Nimbus, a lovely 1-year-old grey and white boy who was also searching for a friend. The pair hit it off instantly and are now inseparable, happily sharing their hutch, garden run and favourite treats. Jet: 10 months old, handsome long-haired boy with dark grey fur.

About Jet &amp

What life with Jet &amp looks like

Jet &amp is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed animal waiting at Hay Animal Rescue Team in United Kingdom.

Every animal has their own temperament and history. The shelter knows Jet &amp far better than any listing can convey — ask about daily routine, ideal household, and what kind of adopter they're hoping for.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Jet &amp, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Jet &amp?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hay Animal Rescue Team handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Jet &amp on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Jet &amp if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hay Animal Rescue Team will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Jet &amp already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most animals on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Jet &amp isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hay Animal Rescue Team early rather than rehoming privately; they know Jet &amp and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
