adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Juliana is a gentle and modest female dog who dreams of nothing more than finally finding a loving home. The young female dog is just under two years old. She stands at 46 cm in shoulder height and weighs around 17 kg. Her beautiful sandy fur and the trusting eyes, which long so much for love, touch the heart. Originally, Juliana came from the public shelter where, until now, animals are still being killed. At first glance, Juliana may seem a bit reserved, but after just a few minutes, she is already sitting on your lap and wants to be petted. She is an uncomplicated female dog who enjoys the attention of people. She likes children and is compatible with other dogs. A life in a loving home will be a completely new experience for Juliana. And thus also the Hunde ABC. House training, car rides, or being left alone—Juliana still needs to learn all of this, but with a bit of patience and empathy, she will surely master these hurdles quickly. For Juliana is very adaptable and wants to please. The first challenge she has already overcome and is already running very well on a leash. In the front, she has a few broken teeth. A clear sign of earlier malnutrition. However, Juliana has no limitations due to this. On the contrary, she loves tasty treats and is not a fussy eater. This will be beneficial for training. A visit to a positively working dog training class would of course also be a wonderful opportunity to grow together and strengthen your bond. Julianas suitcase is packed, and she is waiting with her EU pet passport in her paw for her family. She is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas. After a positive evaluation, the gentle Juliana has already captured your heart? Then we look forward to your self-disclosure form. Many thanks to Kirsten and Alexander W. for your nametag sponsorship. Thanks to you, Juliana not only has an identity but also a real chance. As of: 22.04.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! About Juliana

What life with Juliana looks like

Juliana is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Juliana, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Juliana?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Juliana on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Juliana if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Juliana already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Juliana isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Juliana and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
