Adopt June – Vermittlungshilfe

Mixed Breed · Female

June is a female Malinois mix born in 2020, weighing approximately 25 kg and measuring about 58 cm in height. June originally comes from the Romanian animal protection. She currently lives in a foster home in 52525 Heinsberg. As a Malinois mix, she has all the characteristics of her breed. She is very attentive, has a high willingness to learn and the desire to work as a team with her human. She strongly relies on her primary caregiver. She also greets strangers politely and openly. June lives in her foster home with two large male dogs. She has great social skills and shows that she gets along well both in a pack and with humans. During encounters with unfamiliar dogs, she sometimes reacts uncertainly. What June needs is an experienced person who gently and consistently takes her by the paw and shows her that her people take care of everything. June is an intelligent female dog that, besides exercise, mainly needs mental stimulation, otherwise she comes up with all sorts of nonsense, which can be quite unpleasant for a dog of this size and strength. A joint visit to a dog sports group would definitely please June. June is experienced as a passenger in the car. Outside, she is very alert and tense. Therefore, we are looking for a more rural home for June. In the house, she appears calm and relaxed. With her pack at her side, she is already able to be alone for an appropriate period of time. June is not a female dog for the couch, although she loves snuggling on the sofa. June is a loyal partner for people who are active, can lead clearly and want to grow together with such an intelligent dog. You are welcome to visit June at her foster home in 52525 Heinsberg and be convinced of her wonderful character. June is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated and will be rehomed after a positive assessment. June will be rehomed by E-mail:

E-Mail:

About June – Vermittlungshilfe

What life with June – Vermittlungshilfe looks like

June – Vermittlungshilfe is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Hunde ohne Heimat e.V. in Bedburg.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting June – Vermittlungshilfe, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about June – Vermittlungshilfe?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Hunde ohne Heimat e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw June – Vermittlungshilfe on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt June – Vermittlungshilfe if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Hunde ohne Heimat e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is June – Vermittlungshilfe already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if June – Vermittlungshilfe isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Hunde ohne Heimat e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know June – Vermittlungshilfe and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
