Our Angora-Mix tomcat KAI was born in April 2025. He is male, neutered, and came to us because the costs for his care could no longer be covered by his previous owners. KAI is looking for an active home that can match his lively and energetic nature. He could envision himself in a family with older children who enjoy engaging with him and giving him the attention he needs. KAI is a very talkative, friendly, and people-oriented tomcat. He actively seeks the company of his humans, enjoys extensive cuddles, and develops a close bond with his trusted people. At the same time, he is extremely playful, tempestuous, and full of energy. He needs daily mental stimulation and both mental and physical exertion to stay balanced and content. Whether KAI can live with other cats is currently being assessed. A cohabitation with a suitable fellow animal could, however, be possible. He will be rehomed in a place suitable for apartment living. A fully enclosed balcony is absolutely necessary for him so that he can safely sniff fresh air, observe his surroundings, and use it as an additional retreat and engagement spot. KAI had recurring issues with urination in the past and must therefore be closely monitored. His new owners should pay attention to changes in his behavior or litter box habits and seek veterinary advice promptly if anything seems amiss. Unser Angora-Mix Kater Kai wurde im April 2025 geboren. Er ist männlich, kastriert und kam zu uns, da die anfallenden Kosten für seine Versorgung von seinen bisherigen Besitzern leider nicht mehr getragen werden konnten. Kai sucht ein aktives Zuhause, das seinem lebhaften und energiegeladenen Wesen gerecht wird. Er kann sich gut eine Familie mit größeren Kindern vorstellen, die Freude daran haben, sich mit ihm zu beschäftigen und ihm die Aufmerksamkeit zu schenken, die er braucht. Kai ist ein sehr gesprächiger, zutraulicher und menschenbezogener Kater. Er sucht aktiv die Nähe seiner Menschen, genießt ausgiebige Streicheleinheiten und entwickelt eine enge Bindung zu seinen Bezugspersonen. Gleichzeitig ist er äußerst verspielt, temperamentvoll und voller Energie. Er benötigt täglich viel Beschäftigung und geistige sowie körperliche Auslastung, damit er ausgeglichen und zufrieden bleibt. Ob Kai mit anderen Katzen zusammenleben kann, wird derzeit noch geprüft. Eine Vergesellschaftung mit einem passenden Artgenossen könnte jedoch durchaus möglich sein. Er wird in Wohnungshaltung vermittelt. Ein vollständig vernetzter Balkon ist für ihn dabei unbedingt erforderlich, damit er sicher frische Luft schnuppern, seine Umgebung beobachten und einen zusätzlichen Rückzugs- und Beschäftigungsort nutzen kann. Kai hatte in der Vergangenheit immer wieder Probleme beim Urinabsatz und muss deshalb aufmerksam beobachtet werden. Seine neuen Besitzer sollten auf Veränderungen seines Verhaltens oder seiner Toilettengewohnheiten achten und bei Auffälligkeiten zeitnah tierärztlichen Rat einholen.
