Alter: ca. 12/2019 geboren Geimpft, gechipt, kastriert: ja Im Shelter seit: März 2020 Charakter: zurückhaltend, taut langsam auf Besonderheit: braucht hundeerfahrene Menschen Vorgeschichte und Charakter: Unsere Kaja ist etwa im Dezember 2019 geboren und ist ca. 40 cm groß. Im März 2020 konnten wir sie aus dem Public Shelter in unser Little Souls‘ Home holen. Als Kaja zu uns kam, war sie sehr sehr schüchtern. Sie verkroch sich in den Ecken und wollte am liebsten unsichtbar sein. Doch mit der Zeit (immerhin ist sie nun schon eine ganze Weile bei uns) taute sie immer mehr auf und fasste Vertrauen zu unseren Pflegern. Mittlerweile versteckt sie sich nicht mehr, sondern kommt gern zu unseren Pflegern, wenn sie sich ein Leckerli abholen kann. Dabei lässt sie sich nun sogar anfassen, was vorher undenkbar gewesen wäre! Wir freuen uns sehr über diesen für Kaja gewaltigen Schritt und hoffen, dass sie bald von ihren Menschen gefunden wird, damit sie in ein neues Leben starten kann. Unser Besuch im August 2022: Kaja ist eine zurückhaltende Hündin. Wenn es ihr zu hektisch wird, zieht sie sich schnell zurück. Nimmt man sich aber Zeit und die nötige Ruhe, zeigt sie Interesse und nimmt auch Leckerlis aus der Hand. Wichtige Information: Wenn sich die hübsche Hündin auf die Reise machen darf, wird sie sich in der ersten Zeit in ihrem neuen Zuhause erstmal erholen müssen. Zwar hat Kaja mittlerweile Vertrauen in den Menschen gefasst, doch sicherlich wird sie das neue Umfeld verunsichern. Ihre Liebsten sollten deshalb geduldig und verständnisvoll mit ihr sein, damit Kaja sich gut einleben kann. Sie kennt bisher nur den Shelter – Alltag und hat dementsprechend noch viel zu lernen. Weiterhin sollten ihre Menschen bereits Erfahrung im Umgang mit ängstlichen und unsicheren Hunden haben. Wenn Kaja merkt, dass ihr nichts passiert, wird sie ihre täglichen Spaziergänge genießen können, wird sich im Kreise ihrer Liebsten von Tag zu Tag wohler fühlen und hoffentlich ganz schnell die Schrecken ihrer Vergangenheit hinter sich lassen können.
