Kaleya

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Kaleya is a charming little female dog who immediately catches the eye with her cute, slightly curly fur and her pretty light markings. Especially her lively gaze and her perkily upward-bent tail already reveal that a curious little personality lies within Kaleya. Kaleya shows herself to be very friendly, playful, and active. She loves exploring her surroundings, gathering new impressions, and interacting with her people. She is open-minded and enjoys attention just as much as small cuddles. As a young puppy, Kaleya is still at the very beginning and wants to learn the dog ABCs. We wish for Kaleya a family that is willing to dedicate themselves with patience, love, and consistency to raising a little dog girl and accompanying her on her path to adulthood. A visit to a positively working dog training class would be a wonderful addition on your shared journey. For as much joy, love, and laughter a little mouse like Kaleya can spread, so is it also a great responsibility that one should be aware of beforehand. But every one who is aware of this and still decides for a delicate soul will certainly not regret their decision. The suitcases are packed, the EU pet passport is ready. Who would like to give this sweet little dog girl a loving home? We would also be very happy to have a foster home for Kaleya. Thank you Gritt for this beautiful name. Thanks to your namingsponsorship, Kaleya will surely find her family soon. Stand: 09.05. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! About Kaleya

What life with Kaleya looks like

Kaleya is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kaleya, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kaleya?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kaleya on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kaleya if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kaleya already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kaleya isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kaleya and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
