Kally

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 10 months

adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Kally has found his people! His story: 46354 Südlohn. Unfortunately, our Kally must leave his new home again. He is a real dream dog who would love to arrive at his heart people's place. We have now received the following update: Kally has already adapted well in a short time. He is open and trusting towards people, if you let him set his own pace. If you don't immediately 'attack' Kally and wait for his consent, he enjoys the cuddles, the little snuggle bear. Kally loves the closeness of his trusted people and likes to sleep near them. However, he also wants to be left alone sometimes. This requires that his privacy is respected. As small two-legged beings often don't understand this, we see Kally more suitable for a new home without small children. Long car rides don't bother Kally and he can also stay home alone now. Kally is very eager to learn and is happy when he can learn something. He often gets a treat for that. The recall works well and Kally is house-trained. The handsome male dog loves to go for walks, especially on sunny days and without rain. The young puppy walks well on the leash. When other dogs approach, he sometimes gets a bit impatient because he wants to greet them. Kally plays and frolics very much with them and knows how to take it easy. Kally is about 34 cm tall and will not grow much more. His size makes him an ideal companion for outings and adventures. He travels neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated with an EU-pet passport to his new home. Who will give Kally the love he so desperately desires? Many thanks Manuela! You gave Kally his name! Date: 24.04. This is a young, adolescent dog.

Vielen Dank Manuela! Du hast Kally seinen Namen geschenkt! Stand: 24.04.2024

About Kally

What life with Kally looks like

Kally is a medium-sized puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kally, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kally?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kally on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kally if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kally already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kally isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kally and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
