However, Ketty also brings a certain independence and can be stubborn at times. During encounters with other dogs, she often reacts unfavorably. Additionally, she has a pronounced prey drive, which means she cannot be muzzled. For this reason, no other animals should live in her new home—neither cats nor small pets. An ideally experienced home with people who are physically suited to her and have enough time to keep her occupied and, for example, mentally stimulate her with nose work would be best for Ketty. Im Alltag zeigt sie sich unkompliziert: Sie kann nach Eingewöhung über längere Zeit alleine bleiben, beherrscht die Grundkommandos und läuft gut an der Leine. Rassetypisch bringt Ketty jedoch auch eine gewisse Eigenständigkeit mit und kann mitunter dickköpfig sein. Bei Begegnungen mit Hunden reagiert sie häufig ungehalten. Zudem hat sie einen ausgeprägten Jagdtrieb, weshalb sie nicht abgeleint werden kann. Aus diesem Grund sollten in ihrem neuen Zuhause auch keine anderen Tiere leben – weder Katzen noch Kleintiere.
