Kimba & Finn

Mixed Breed · Male · Kitten · 4 months

Kimba and Finn, two male kittens born around March 2026, are looking for a forever home in Orastie, Romania. They are very social and should only be adopted together. Both are very playful and active. They have no known disabilities. Hello everyone, we are Kimba and Finn, two kittens born on the streets who were fortunately found early before anything happened to us. We were lucky and survived. Unfortunately, some other kittens were too sick when they were found. It is very difficult for us little kittens to be on the streets. Unvaccinated, we are exposed to serious diseases and viruses. Many of us die from feline distemper or other illnesses. We are overjoyed that this did not happen to us. We received good vaccinations from the kind animal lover Manuela. And now we are waiting for a great home. We would like to find a home together. We bring real life to the house! Because we are extremely playful and enjoy life. We would like to move into a pure indoor living situation. A cat-proofed balcony would be nice, but it is not a must. As mentioned, we have already received our first vaccinations against cat flu and distemper, and when we travel to you, we will also receive a microchip, a rabies vaccination and an EU pet passport.

About Kimba & Finn

What life with Kimba & Finn looks like

Kimba & Finn is a puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Seelenkatzen e.V. in Barsinghausen.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Kimba & Finn, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Kimba & Finn?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Seelenkatzen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Kimba & Finn on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Kimba & Finn if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Seelenkatzen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Kimba & Finn already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Kimba & Finn isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Seelenkatzen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Kimba & Finn and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
