Origin Country: Hungary We have a DNA breed determination. The pretty Kira has a sad story. She had owners, but was found homeless for the third time within two years on February 5, 2023, and brought to the animal shelter. She was picked up twice, but on the third time, no one came to take Kira home, perhaps for the better… Another great mix-breed dog at the Menhely shelter, which is having a hard time getting her ticket to happiness. Our fingers are crossed doubly hard! Despite everything, Kira is a loving, kind, and friendly female dog who enjoys attention, cuddles, and love, which has been a scarcity in her life so far. On the leash, she runs quite well, and she will quickly catch up on the missed dog ABC lessons if her new people guide her lovingly. Kira wishes for many great adventures with her new two-legged family members. How she gets along with her fellow animals will be tested soon, and an update will follow. Update from April 4, 2023: She has now gone on several supervised walks with Ramm, which went well. For our wonderful Kira, we are looking for enthusiastic and dog/breed-experienced people who can give Kira a loving "Forever Home." Where she can finally feel safe and loved, where she can enjoy exciting walks, be challenged, supported, and lovingly but consistently led, and simply live a happy and carefree life, leaving the past behind. On December 3, 2024, a voluntary, Hungarian helper writes: "Kira has lived in the animal shelter for almost two years, unfortunately, she has spent half her life there. On today's mentor day, she got the chance to go on an exciting walk. Her mentor reported that she was very happy about the walk, she smiled the whole time, walked confidently on the leash, enjoyed the pampering, and after a while, she asked for more on her own. She was curious and interested. On the way back to the shelter, they arrived with the other walkers and ran relaxed in the "pack." Kira is waiting for her responsible owner, to whom she can trust and rely, to whom she can move into a safe home as a permanent family member. Kira should finally be able to experience what a happy family dog's life is like. She needs love, respect, mental stimulation, and caring, lobbied upbringing, of course, with patience for the adjustment. She is a great female dog who tries to please and do everything right. Good luck, dear Kira." On November 16, 2025, a voluntary, Hungarian helper writes: "Kira has been a resident of the animal shelter for almost three years. This time was long, waiting in the pen. Much has happened to Kira, but she has maintained her optimism and good mood. During the walks, she was very happy. She was cheerful and exceptionally friendly. People are everything to her. With great enthusiasm and curiosity, she strolled with her mentor. She walked very well on the leash and paid attention to her companion. During the walk, she kissed her mentor. Kira is affectionate and longs for affection and attention. She happily accepted cuddles and pampering. In the pen, waiting is hard for her because she is people-oriented and longs for the closeness of people. She is waiting for a permanent, safe, cozy home, a family that loves, respects her, and raises her based on praise." Who can Kira be a loyal friend to? Kira is travel-ready.

Ursprungsland: Ungarn Uns liegt eine DNA-Rassebestimmung vor. Die hübsche Kira hat eine traurige Geschichte. Sie hatte Besitzer, wurde aber am 5.2.2023 bereits zum dritten Mal innert zwei Jahren herrenlos aufgefunden und ins Tierheim gebracht. Zweimal wurde sie wieder abgeholt, doch beim dritten Mal kam niemand mehr, um Kira nach Hause zu holen, vielleicht besser so. Eine weitere tolle Listenmixhündin im Menhely, die es leider so schwer hat, ihr Ticket ins Glück zu lösen. Unsere Daumen sind deshalb doppelt so fest gedrückt! Trotz allem ist Kira eine liebe, nette und freundliche Hündin, die sich freut, wenn man ihr etwas Aufmerksamkeit, Streicheleinheiten und Liebe schenkt, was bisher wohl Mangelware in ihrem Leben war. Das Versäumte aus dem Hunde-ABC wird sie schnell aufgeholt haben, wenn ihre neuen Menschen sie liebevoll anleiten. Mit ihrem Hundekumpel Ramm war sie schon einige Male unter Aufsicht im Auslauf, und das hat gut geklappt. Wir wünschen uns für Kira viele schöne gemeinsame Unternehmungen mit ihren neuen Zweibeinern. Für unsere wundervolle Kira suchen wir begeisterte hunde- und rasseerfahrene Menschen, die ihr ein liebevolles Für-immer-Zuhause schenken. Ein Zuhause, in dem sie sich endlich geborgen und geliebt fühlen darf, spannende Spaziergänge geniesst, gefordert, gefördert und liebevoll, aber konsequent geführt wird, ein glückliches und sorgloses Leben führt und ihre Vergangenheit hinter sich lassen kann. Update vom 24.07.2026: Kira ist eine echte kleine Liebesbombe. Sie liebt Menschen und begegnet jedem mit derselben Offenheit und Herzlichkeit, ganz egal, wen sie vor sich hat, und auch Kinder haben sie sofort ins Herz geschlossen. Beschäftigt sich jemand mit ihr, sprüht sie vor Freude, rennt voller Begeisterung grosse Kreise und springt fröhlich umher. An der Leine läuft sie sehr schön und achtet aufmerksam darauf, was ihr Mensch von ihr möchte. Obwohl sie schon so lange im Tierheim lebt, hat sie ihre Fröhlichkeit nicht verloren, doch das Warten im Zwinger fällt ihr sichtlich schwer. Kira ist reisefertig. Da Kira ein Staffmix ist, müssen Sie sich bei Interesse an ihr zuerst in Ihrem Wohnkanton über die Haltungsbedingungen informieren.
