Kit is one of the dogs we are currently looking after on the steeers with the help of dedicated volunteers in the area where he lives. Kit is a beautiful, big male Greek Shepherd Mix who hasn’t had the best of starts in life. He is still very wary of men because of this. He lives in a safe outside space, and has a hut to seek shelter, but he is scared of thunder and lightning. Kit would so like to find his forever home as he gets sad and miserable when the weather is horrible. Kit will make a wonderful companion for someone but still needs a bit of training as he has spent all of his life on the streets. Kit can be a bit jealous and have food envy so needs someone who can handle this kind of behaviour, which is very correctable with the right training. We know Kit has had to fight for food, safety and affection from the early beginning of his life (he is now about 2.5 years old) and we think as soon as he knows that there will never be a lack of anything in his life anymore, he will let go of his little traits anyway. Kit currently lives with his 2 best friends Lisa and Emil and generally gets on well with other dogs. He loves his walks sith volunteers who look after him and he loves to play with his pack or spend lazy mornings in the sunshine. He is quick to learn and very eager to please and he gets very upset and sad when we have to tell him off for a little misstep. He will do everything to make it right again. He is a lovely boy who really deserves to find his family soon!
