Kodu also suffered the fate of many northern breeds – he lived his previous life on a short chain, without space, movement, and decent conditions. And yet, he is a dog that was created for freedom, movement, and contact with people. Koda is an active, curious, and friendly dog. He likes to explore his surroundings, everything interests him, and when he feels like it, he can even play with balls. Above all, he loves walks – he really enjoys them fully. Outdoors, he comes alive, enjoys every step, every stimulus. He reacts very well to people, likes to greet them, enjoys contact, and has already been on walks with volunteers several times. Handling him is trouble-free – he manages it without stress or resistance. He gets along with males according to his preferences, and with female dogs without problems. Koda is a typical representative of the "northerner" – he has his own energy, his own opinion, and he is not a dog that would suit anyone. He needs an experienced owner who knows the specifics of the breed, or someone willing to learn as much as possible about them. We are looking for a home for him where he will have enough exercise, mental stimulation, and especially a close relationship with his person. Ideally, a securely fenced yard with a quality house, or even a run, but only in combination with regular walks and an active program. Koda has a tendency to jump over fences, especially when alone, so having an exercise run is crucial. Having a husky at home is not just a visual dream – it is a commitment, responsibility, and a lifestyle. Koda is waiting for someone who understands this – and will finally give him the home he deserves.

Aj Kodu postihol osud mnohých severských plemien – svoj doterajší život prežil na krátkej reťazi, bez priestoru, pohybu a dôstojných podmienok. A pritom je to pes, ktorý bol stvorený pre slobodu, pohyb a kontakt s človekom. Koda je aktívny, zvedavý a priateľský pes. Rád skúma okolie, všetko ho zaujíma, a keď má náladu, vie sa aj zahrať s loptičkami. Zo všetkého najviac však miluje prechádzky – tie si naozaj užíva naplno. Vonku ožíva, teší sa z každého kroku, z každého podnetu. Na ľudí reaguje veľmi dobre, rád sa víta, teší sa z kontaktu a viackrát bol už aj na venčení s dobrovoľníkmi. Manipulácia s ním je bezproblémová – zvláda ju bez stresu či odporu. So samcami vychádza podľa sympatií a s fenkami vychádza bez problémov. Koda je typický predstaviteľ “severana” – má svoju energiu, svoj názor a nie je to pes, ktorý by sa hodil komukoľvek. Potrebuje skúseného majiteľa, ktorý pozná špecifiká plemena, alebo má chuť sa o nich naučiť čo najviac. Hľadáme pre neho domov, kde bude mať dostatok pohybu, mentálnej stimulácie a najmä blízky vzťah so svojím človekom. Ideálne bezpečne oplotený pozemok s kvalitnou búdou, alebo aj voliéru, no len v kombinácii s pravidelným venčením a aktívnym programom. Koda má tendenciu preskakovať ploty, najmä keď je sám, preto je zabezpečenie výbehu kľúčové. Mať doma huskyho nie je len vizuálny sen – je to záväzok, zodpovednosť a životný štýl. Koda čaká na niekoho, kto to pochopí – a dá mu konečne domov, aký si zaslúži.
