Krümel

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy · 4 months

Krümel is a female dog born in June 2026. She is still growing and is expected to reach a final size of about 50 cm. The little beauty enchants with her friendly, open nature. Age-appropriately, Krümel is curious, playful, and discovers the world a little more each day. She loves to play, romp, and enjoys every attention. With her lovable character and cheerful nature, she brings a smile to everyone's face. Although she is still a real puppy, she has already taken a step towards puberty and is increasingly discovering her own head. Therefore, loving consistency, patience, and good guidance are all the more important on her way to adulthood. Krümel is not familiar with life in a house. Everyday noises like vacuum cleaners, TVs, doorbells, or household appliances will be new to her and must be carefully introduced. She is also not familiar with being alone and should be gradually and without pressure built up in her new home. Now Krümel is looking for a loving family or foster home that shows her the world, teaches her patiently the dog ABC, and gives her a home forever. Whoever wants to accompany a young female dog as she grows up will find in Krümel a wonderful companion. Krümel is vaccinated and chipped and will be placed with a protection contract after a positive preliminary check. Due to her age, she is not yet spayed. Departure possible immediately! General note on our protégés: Our dogs in Romania are regularly visited so that we can reassess their behavior and development again and again. These personal impressions help us very much to convey a possibly good picture of each individual dog. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that a dog in a new environment - with new people, new processes and new impressions - can also show itself differently. This is quite normal and is part of every change process. Many dogs even open up faster at home and show sides that were not visible in the shelter. Our assessments are therefore based on current observations, but are not a guarantee for every behavior in the new environment. They should give an orientation and show how the dog presents itself in the shelter - and what potential is in him. We are convinced: With patience, understanding and a loving environment, every dog can find its way and develop positively.

About Krümel

What life with Krümel looks like

Krümel is a large puppy mixed breed dog waiting at Vierbeiner in Not e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Dogs and cats typically leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with an EU pet passport.

Frequently asked

Adopting Krümel, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Krümel?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Vierbeiner in Not e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Krümel on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Krümel if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Vierbeiner in Not e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Krümel already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Krümel isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Vierbeiner in Not e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Krümel and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
