Microchipped and vaccinated, mixed breed pit bull and border collie with short black coat. Currently not spayed/neutered, will be done before adoption. Temperament: Kuzko has a very difficult past... he was not properly cared for by his owners and the experiences he missed due to the little time he was given during his growth phase combined with his breed characteristics have made him wary of people, particularly those he doesn't know, and reactive to other dogs and vehicles. He tends to pull on the leash, requiring some physical strength to manage him, but we are confident that this aspect can be mitigated with work and trust in his new caregivers. He is a very intelligent, active dog with a lot of energy and a big foodie... He is following a behavioral program in the shelter to prepare him for adoption and many results are already being seen. Ideal Adoption: Good for people with experience with dogs, who have time to devote to him once at home, but also for those who are willing to work with a professional after adoption. Good for those who have the time and desire to help him recover the experiences he missed, good for active people. No children. No other animals. Generalità: Microchippato e vaccinato, meticcio incrocio pit bull e border collie dal pelo corto nero. Al momento non è sterilizzato, verrà fatto prima dell’affido Carattere: Kuzko ha davvero un brutto passato alle spalle… non è infatti stato seguito come sarebbe stato opportuno dai proprietari e le esperienze che gli sono mancate per via del poco tempo che gli veniva dedicato in fase di crescita combinate con le sue caratteristiche di razza l’hanno reso diffidente nei confronti delle persone, in particolare quelle che non conosce e reattivo verso altri cani e mezzi di trasporto. Al guinzaglio tendenzialmente tira, necessaria un po’ di forza fisica per gestirlo, ma siamo certi che questo aspetto possa mitigarsi con lavoro e fiducia nei suoi nuovi referenti. E’ un cane comunque molto intelligente, attivo e con tanta voglia di fare, oltre che un gran golosone… Sta seguendo un percorso comportamentale in canile per prepararlo al meglio a una futura adozione e si stanno già vedendo molti risultati Adozione ideale: Bene per persone che abbiano esperienza con i cani, che abbiano tempo da dedicargli una volta a casa, ma anche per affrontare un percorso pre affido in canile. Ok per coloro disposti a farsi seguire da un professionista dopo l’adozione. Bene per coloro che abbiano tempo e voglia di fargli recuperare le esperienze che gli sono mancate, ok se persone attive.
