Laika is an absolutely loving and people-oriented dog who is finally ready to find his very own warm home. Sadly, he has spent a lot of time in a crate, but despite that, he remains a soft, grateful boy who thoroughly enjoys attention and love. Since he has been at the animal shelter, Laika has learned to play—and what a joy he gets from it! He can really let loose and looks forward to his walks every day. What he loves most is being close to the people he trusts. Companionship and cuddles truly make him happy. Laika has an allergy to grass and certain environmental factors. For this, he takes a pill daily, and with it, he is doing well. Additionally, we bathe him with a special shampoo to keep his skin calm. It may be that he will continue to need this care once a month, but fortunately, he is very good about it. Moreover, his right eye does not produce enough moisture, so his right eye is cared for daily with eye ointment; on this eye, he is completely blind. With other dogs, Laika seems to have no problems, although he can sometimes be very enthusiastic in his interactions. For Laika, we are looking for a loving and understanding family that will give him the peace, care, and warmth he so deserves. In return, you will get a loyal friend with a heart of gold. Laika is een ontzettend lieve en mensgerichte hond die klaar is om eindelijk zijn eigen warme thuis te vinden. Hij heeft jammer genoeg veel tijd in een bench doorgebracht, maar ondanks dat is hij een zachte, dankbare jongen gebleven die enorm geniet van aandacht en liefde. Sinds hij in het asiel verblijft, heeft Laika leren spelen — en wat geniet hij daarvan! Hij kan zich helemaal uitleven en kijkt elke dag uit naar zijn wandelingen. Het liefst van al is hij dicht bij de mensen die hij vertrouwt. Gezelschap en knuffels maken hem echt gelukkig. Laika heeft een allergie aan gras en bepaalde omgevingsfactoren. Hiervoor krijgt hij dagelijks een pilletje, en daarmee doet hij het momenteel goed. Daarnaast wassen we hem met een speciale shampoo om zijn huid rustig te houden. Het kan zijn dat hij deze verzorging 1keer per maand zal blijven nodig hebben, maar gelukkig laat hij dit heel braaf toe. Ook krijgt zijn rechteroog niet genoeg vocht waardoor zijn rechteroogje iedere dag wordt verzorgt met oogzalf op dit oog is hij volledig blind . Met andere honden lijkt Laika geen problemen te hebben, al kan hij soms wel erg enthousiast zijn in zijn contact. Voor Laika zoeken we een liefdevol en begripvol gezin dat hem de rust, verzorging en warmte wil geven die hij zo verdient. In ruil krijg je een trouwe vriend met een hart van goud.
