I prefer to be with someone 24/7. Giving attention? Yes, please. Receiving attention? Even better. I am a real cuddle cat and feel best when I am close to my people. Being alone is not for me. Confining me is definitely not a good idea. A sliding door? And believe me: I have perseverance. A lot of perseverance. The one who persists will win. Eating is also an important subject in my life. If I think it's time for food, I let that be known loudly and clearly. In addition, I have the habit of walking around your feet. Cozy, isn't it? And when it's time to play, I'm completely in my element. With a laser pen, I turn into an enthusiastic hunter who is absolutely certain that I will catch that one uncatchable spot eventually. Furthermore, I am a bit unpredictable in my enthusiasm. Sometimes I can accidentally become too wild and then I give a playful tap or nibble. Because of this, I am not suitable for small children. What I'm looking for? An owner who is often at home and has time for me. Someone who loves a large, present and cuddly cat who wants to be everywhere and finds something to do everywhere. Unfortunately, it has turned out that I am FIV positive. This is the same as HIV in humans, the precursor to AIDS. This does not necessarily mean that I will actually get feline AIDS. I am just more susceptible to infections because my immunity is lower. But with proper care, I can still live a long life. It is not contagious to humans or other animals, only to cats. Therefore, I cannot be placed with healthy cats. Because I am FIV positive, I cannot freely roam outside. Ik ben het liefst 24/7 in gezelschap. Aandacht geven? Ja graag. Aandacht krijgen? Nog liever. Ik ben een echte knuffelkat en voel me het best als ik dicht bij mijn mensen ben. Alleen zijn is niets voor mij. Opsluiten is trouwens geen goed idee. Een schuifdeur? Die heb ik in principe zo door maar als dat niet lukt, heb ik een alternatief plan: dan ga ik gewoon uitgebreid miauwen, krabben en dramatisch aanwezig zijn bij de deur tot hij open gaat. En geloof me: ik heb doorzettingsvermogen. Heel veel doorzettingsvermogen. De aanhouder wint. Eten is trouwens ook een belangrijk onderwerp in mijn leven. Als ik vind dat het etenstijd is, laat ik dat luid en duidelijk weten. Daarnaast heb ik de gewoonte om graag voor je voeten te lopen. Gezellig toch? En als het tijd is om te spelen, dan ben ik helemaal in mijn element. Met een laserlampje verander ik in een fanatieke jager die absoluut zeker weet dat hij die ene ongrijpbare stip ooit zal vangen. Verder ben ik nog wat onvoorspelbaar in mijn enthousiasme. Soms kan ik per ongeluk iets te wild worden en dan geef ik een speelse tik of hapje. Daarom ben ik niet zo geschikt voor kleine kinderen. Wat ik zoek? Een baasje dat veel thuis is en tijd heeft voor mij. Iemand die houdt van een grote, aanwezige en knuffelige kat die overal bij wil zijn en overal iets van vindt. Helaas is wel gebleken dat ik FIV-positief ben. Dit is hetzelfde als Hiv bij mensen, het voorstadium van aids. Dit hoeft niet te betekenen dat ik ook echt kattenaids krijg. Ik ben hierdoor alleen wat gevoeliger voor infecties omdat mijn weerstand lager is. Maar met de juiste verzorging kan ik nog best oud worden. Het is niet besmettelijk voor mensen of andere dieren, alleen voor katten. Daarom mag ik niet bij gezonde katten geplaatst worden. Omdat ik FIV-positief ben, mag ik niet vrij buiten rond lopen. Mocht je een goed afgezette tuin hebben, zodat ik zo nu en dan een frisse neus kan halen, dan zou dat ook fantastisch zijn, maar ik ben inmiddels ook gewend aan het leven binnenshuis.
