Lasagne Longlegs

Greyhound · Female · Senior · 10 years

Lasagne is a sweet, affectionate girl who absolutely adores attention and loves nothing more than a good fuss from her human friends! She would thrive in a calm, loving home where someone is around for most of the day, with any time spent alone introduced gradually as she settles in. A relaxed girl by nature, Lasagne enjoys finding a cosy sunny spot where she can stretch out and unwind. She also loves her walks and is a pleasure to have by your side, walking beautifully on the lead! As an ex-racing greyhound she is looking for a family who love snuggling on the sofa and going for shorter walks. Lasagne is now looking for a loving home where she can settle and feel truly cherished. She has so much love to give and would make a wonderful companion for her forever family! If you offer her a tasty snack she will be your BFF for life! This gorgeous girl really does have a heart of gold! Could you give Lasagne Longlegs her forever home? About Lasagne Longlegs

What life with Lasagne Longlegs looks like

Lasagne Longlegs is a senior greyhound dog waiting at Dogs Trust West Calder in West Calder.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lasagne Longlegs, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lasagne Longlegs?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Dogs Trust West Calder handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lasagne Longlegs on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lasagne Longlegs if I live in another country?: Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Dogs Trust West Calder will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Lasagne Longlegs already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lasagne Longlegs isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Dogs Trust West Calder early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lasagne Longlegs and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
