LAZUR 123 – HANDICAP - SENIOR Lazur 123 – Handicap – Senior - male dog (blind), neutered, shoulder height ca. 54 cm, born ca. 2016/2017. Lazur is not that old, but is completely blind and very likely also deaf. It looks to me like an accident, or a head-on collision. Lazur was not blind his whole life, as you can see that he struggles a bit and is a little confused and disoriented. Despite everything that has probably been done to him by humans, he still has faith in the good in bipeds. He seeks contact with us and cuddles with his caregiver. Lazur is a truly unfortunate fellow who has no chance of adoption in Poland. He is now in the yard with other male dogs. (10/2022 AK) Update 03/2023: Lazur is blind and is brought to us on our caregiver's arm because he does not want to walk on a leash. During our photo session, he makes a brief exception and walks with Marina, sniffing and very interested in the surroundings. When we make direct contact, he is initially a bit reserved but then friendly. Due to his handicap, he wishes for a quiet home as a single dog where he does not have to assert himself in a pack of sighted dogs. (M/SG)

LAZUR 123 – HANDICAP - SENIOR Lazur 123 – Handicap – Senior - Rüde (blind), kastriert, Schulterhöhe ca. 54 cm, geboren ca. 2016/2017. Lazur ist noch gar nicht so alt, aber schon komplett blind und sehr wahrscheinlich auch taub. Für mich sieht das nach einem Unfall aus, oder nach einem Aufprall gegen den Kopf. Lazur war mit Sicherheit nicht lebenslang blind, man sieht, dass er schlecht damit zurecht kommt und ein bisschen verwirrt und desorientiert ist. Trotz allem Schlimmen, was ihm wahrscheinlich durch Menschen angetan worden ist, hat er nicht den Glauben an das Gute in den Zweibeiner verloren. Er sucht Kontakt zu uns und kuschelt mit seiner Pflegerin. Lazur ist ein wirklich armer Kerl der keine Chance in Polen auf eine Adoption hat. Er sitzt jetzt mit anderen Rüden zusammen im Zwinger. (10/2022 AK) Update 03/2023: Lazur ist blind und wird uns auf dem Arm gebracht, da er nicht an der Leine laufen möchte. Bei unserem Fototermin macht er eine kurze Ausnahme und geht mit Marina schnüffelnd und sehr interessiert über das Gelände. Als wir direkter Kontakt aufnehmen, ist er zunächst etwas zurückhalten und dann freundlich. Aufgrund seines Handicaps wünscht er sich ein ruhiges Zuhause als Einzelhund, wo er sich nicht im Rudel sehender Hunde behaupten muss. (M/SG)
