Lenia

Mixed Breed · Female · Senior · 9 years

13/6/2026 Update: Lenia has now recovered from a urine infection and is prescribed Incurin which seems to have solved the issue. Incurin is a very cheap medication and she has one tiny pill a day. She just needs a home of her own where she can be the centre of attention. Lenia is a Corgi size and just loves to just be with you, whatever you are doing especially if you're outside which she loves. She does not seek affection, is not a needy dog and in the home you hardly know she is there. She’s loves going for walks, walks lovely on a lead and is fantastic with other dogs. Lenia does not like being picked up if she doesn’t know you which is understandable and would prefer not to be around children. She seeks a loving, quiet, retirement home where she can mooch about, snooze, eat and go for interesting little walks. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Adorable Lenia is a sprightly 9 year old lady who is currently located in the Llanbydder area and is seeking her 5 star forever home with the help of Evermore Dog Rescue . Lenia is a spayed Crossbreed and was born on 16/9/2016. She weighs 12kg and has a long body but very short legs, so she needs a garden that is mostly flat with not too many steps, or none at all. Lenia is an absolute delight. She's such a friendly girl towards both people and other dogs and is no trouble at all. She's simply a laid-back soul who deserves a loving place to call home. Lenia clean in the house, sleeps well and is happy to potter about, as well as going out on short walks. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ If you have a cosy, loving home for delightful Lenia, please contact EverMore Dog Rescue or as follows: for further information and to arrange a meeting Email: Please mention that you saw Lenia on the Oldies Club website.

About Lenia

What life with Lenia looks like

Lenia is a very small senior mixed breed dog waiting at The Oldies Club in United Kingdom.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lenia, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lenia?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. The Oldies Club handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lenia on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lenia if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — The Oldies Club will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lenia already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lenia isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with The Oldies Club early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lenia and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
