Leon is a male castrated spitz. He arrived at Oasis in April 2026 due to health issues that his owners could no longer afford. He has diabetes, which is not the easiest condition to manage, especially since I am not always very cooperative. If you would like more information about my diabetes and how it is managed, I invite you to discuss it with my caregivers, who will be happy to talk to you about me. In addition to my diabetes, I have recurring ear infections, which need to be monitored. My short tail is congenital; I have a certificate that allows me to travel. As for my character, as I said, I am not always easy to handle during handling. That's why I'm looking for a patient and calm family who will help me manage myself and, above all, take my health very seriously. Apart from that, I get along well with dogs, but cohabitation with cats and young children should be avoided. So yes, there are quite a few small constraints regarding me, but I am a little grandpa who also knows how to be very affectionate, gentle and still have energy to accompany you on your adventures.

Mon petit nom, c’est Léon, et je suis un spitz mâle castré. Mon arrivée à l’Oasis en avril 2026 fait suite à mes problèmes de santé que mes propriétaires ne pouvaient plus assumer financièrement. En effet, je suis atteint de diabète, et ce n’est pas la maladie la plus simple à gérer, surtout que je ne suis pas toujours très coopératif. Si vous souhaitez plus d’informations concernant mon diabète et la manière dont il est géré, je vous invite à en discuter avec mes gardiennes, qui prendront un grand plaisir à vous parler de moi. En dehors de mon diabète, je fais des otites à répétition, qu’il est important de surveiller. Ma queue courte est de naissance ; je possède un certificat qui me permet de voyager. Concernant mon caractère, comme je vous l’ai dit, je ne suis pas toujours facile lors des manipulations. C’est pourquoi je recherche une famille patiente et calme qui saura m’aider à me gérer et, surtout, qui prendra ma santé très au sérieux. Mis à part cela, je m’entends bien avec les chiens, mais la cohabitation avec les chats et les jeunes enfants sera à éviter. Alors oui, il y a pas mal de petites contraintes me concernant, mais je suis un petit papy qui sait aussi être très attachant, doux et qui a encore de l’énergie pour vous accompagner dans vos aventures.
