Cat Games Posted on April 24, 2025 by Brigit Does the cat like to play? Of course it does, a simple bottle cap can amuse a kitten! The cat is a hunter (a miniature feline) and naturally playful, even when they get older and not just when they are kittens. You will find all kinds of toys in the store, but know that the simplest ones are often their favorites. Preferably choose a toy similar to prey. A feather wand, a stuffed toy (filled with cat grass... they generally love it), a spinning ball, a cork attached to a string, are often enough to amuse them. However, aluminum can be dangerous, especially for kittens, who like it a lot, it's light and it "flies" easily, but beware! They can tear it apart and swallow pieces. But with them, any stimulus will be crowned with success, all toys interest them. It is easy to occupy and distract them See our article on cats and cardboard Adult cats also need to be stimulated regularly. The ideal is to plan 2 or 3 moments during the day where you can dedicate 5 or 10 minutes to amuse them. With their favorite toy... which one? You will have discovered it over time. Video of Coco, an adult cat having fun playing like a kitten What is the scratching post for cats used for? If they cannot go out, to relieve themselves and satisfy their instincts, it is important to install a scratching post in a specific corner of the house that you have shown them (store-bought scratching posts, a simple piece of carpet or even a mat). This often prevents them from attacking your furniture and sofas. It will also allow them to let off steam and mark their territory. Should you buy a cat tree? A cat tree is also a good idea that will allow them to jump after a run so they can get to a height (some exercise) but also enjoy the outside view if you place it near a window. If you don't have the budget, remember that a simple piece of furniture or shelf that is easy to access and at least comfortable, where they can sit, can be enough for their happiness. Or, if you are handy... make it yourself! Share: Click to print (opens in a new window) Print Click to send a link by e-mail to a friend (opens in a new window) E-mail I like it: I like loading... About Les jeux du chat

What life with Les jeux du chat looks like

Les jeux du chat is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at École du Chat de Drancy in France.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Les jeux du chat, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Les jeux du chat?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. École du Chat de Drancy handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Les jeux du chat on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Les jeux du chat if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — École du Chat de Drancy will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Les jeux du chat already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Les jeux du chat isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with École du Chat de Drancy early rather than rehoming privately; they know Les jeux du chat and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
