Témoignage de la famille d’adoption du chat Gaïa Published on 18 April 2010January 18, 2020 by Brigit Adopted at 7 months, Gaïa found a wonderful adoptive family with cat friends, a dog, and a goldfish… Her story before adoption: This poor little cat had already faced so many hardships that we couldn't help but take her in. At just 7 months old and already with a litter, this stray cat had been wandering in a city for months, suffering from the cold and hunger. She even managed to sneak into an apartment and didn't want to leave. This temporary foster family decided to keep her until they could find her a permanent home. Now she is safe and warm, and she's recovering. When she's spoken to, she purrs, and she loves cuddles and affection! Very calm and gentle, this adorable little cat, who has had many misfortunes despite her young age, deserves to be taken care of now. The adoptive family's testimony: Some updates… I'm sending these photos. Gaïa is a darling, she's really ADORABLE… Thank you so much. Everything is going well between the two cats. They're not big friends, but they can be left together; he no longer attacks her. Her new scapegoat is the dog! But the dog's size is a deterrent … ;o) And it's clear that they're each other's greatest love. So everything is going very well for her and her new playmates and cuddle buddies!!! Best regards, wishing you a Merry Christmas. NadègeShare: Click to print(open in new tab) Print Click to share on email to a friend(open in new tab) Email I like this:Like Loading…

How do I contact the shelter about Témoignage de la famille d’adoption du chat Gaïa?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. École du Chat de Drancy handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Témoignage de la famille d’adoption du chat Gaïa on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Témoignage de la famille d’adoption du chat Gaïa if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — École du Chat de Drancy will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Témoignage de la famille d’adoption du chat Gaïa already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Témoignage de la famille d’adoption du chat Gaïa isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with École du Chat de Drancy early rather than rehoming privately; they know Témoignage de la famille d’adoption du chat Gaïa and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
