Adopt Lewis

Male · Adult · 5 years

Lewis is a 5-year-old Dachshund who must be adopted with his companion Minnie as a bonded pair. These affectionate dogs thrive on human company and love being close to their people. Lewis is more active than his companion and enjoys playing chase with tennis balls. He has ongoing medical conditions requiring discussion. Lewis can be unsure around other dogs and may react noisily, needing confidence building. Suitable for homes with secondary school aged children but no other pets. Perfect for someone home frequently who enjoys companionship.

Lewis and Minnie would make the perfect companions for someone who is around a lot of the time, but still enjoys a little potter here and there. Lewis does have on-going medical conditions which the team will be happy to discuss with anyone interested. Given Lewis and Minnie have always been together, we are only looking for homes willing to open their hearts to both dogs and will not be rehoming them separately. Lewis and Minnie are an adorable pair of Dachshund with the sweetest natures. These little sausages may be small, but their love for people is huge! Both Lewis and Minnie are incredibly affectionate and truly thrive on human company. They love being around their foster carers and are happiest when they are close by- whether that’s snuggled up on the sofa or pottering around the house together. Lewis is the youngest of this mother-son duo, at 5-years-old. He is more active than Minnie and does enjoy a little game of chase with a tennis ball! Lewis can be unsure of other dogs out and about; this can result in him making a lot of noise. We are looking for adopters who are happy to continue Lewis’ confidence building around other dogs. They could live with secondary school aged children but are looking for a home with no other dogs or pets.
