Trotz ihres Alters ist sie noch immer verspielt und neugierig – sie liebt es, Lichtreflexen hinterherzujagen oder mit Spielangeln durch die Wohnung zu flitzen. Lexi hat viele Jahre alleine draußen verbracht und ist daher sehr selbstständig – aber auch unglaublich menschenbezogen. Sie liebt es, dabei zu sein, beobachtet aufmerksam das Geschehen und liegt gerne in der Nähe ihrer Bezugspersonen. Kuscheln und Streicheln? Sehr gern – aber bitte nur zu ihren Bedingungen! Lexi entscheidet selbst, wann und wie viel Nähe sie möchte. Ihre Grenzen zeigt sie klar und braucht Menschen, die ihre Signale verstehen und respektieren. Hochgehoben zu werden mag sie überhaupt nicht. Sie ist sensibel, reagiert schreckhaft auf Neues und benötigt ein ruhiges Umfeld ohne Kinder oder Trubel. Hektik und laute Geräusche stressen sie sehr. Dafür belohnt sie ihre Menschen mit stiller, treuer Nähe und schläft gerne im Bett, ganz nah bei ihnen. Lexi ist äußerst reinlich, stubenrein, pflegt sich ausgiebig und genießt sanftes Bürsten.
