This pair of siblings: Libélula and Escarabajo, were born in the house where their mother lived. They were very neglected and full of ticks. One day they escaped, and a friend found them, picked them up, and brought them to the animal shelter. Since Escarabajo did not have a chip, they stayed at the animal shelter. Escarabajo and Libélula are two little brothers who need time to trust. They arrived very scared of people, disoriented, and always on alert. They only had each other, and Escarabajo, more fearful than his sister, tried to scare us off to protect her. Slowly, with time and patience, they have gained confidence in their surroundings and in us. Finally, they start to understand that everything that comes from people is good and that they can relax a little. Still, they are fearful of strangers. For now, they do not go for walks, but they already start to accept petting and to let themselves be handled, although they are still very intimidated. Libélula is more nervous and bold; when she trusts, she does not stay still and is a bit less fearful. Escarabajo is more calm, reflective, and cautious, but also more timid. Now they need to start exploring more of the world and discovering all the good that is outside. They need a family with a lot of patience and without rushing, that gives them the time they need to trust little by little and teaches them the life they deserve. Ideally, there should be another puppy at home if they do not go together, especially for Escarabajo, who is more introverted and needs to see what other dogs do to feel secure. She has already been spayed. Leishmania analysis is negative. 4 Idexx test (Ehrlichia, Heartworm, Anaplasma, and borrelia) is negative.

Libélula y Escarabajo son dos hermanos que nacieron en la casa donde vivía su madre, pero crecieron en condiciones de mucho descuido y con abundantes garrapatas. Tras escaparse, fueron encontrados por un colaborador que los recogió y los llevó al albergue. Al no tener chip, han quedado bajo nuestro cuidado. Libélula llegó al albergue junto a su hermano Escarabajo, habían crecido aislados y en condiciones de mucho descuido. Llegaron al albergue muy asustados, poco a poco, con paciencia y tiempo, han ido aprendiendo a confiar en algunos de nosotros, aunque todavía siguen siendo muy temerosos con las personas desconocidas. Libélula es una perrita insegura y nerviosa. En los paseos todavía lo pasa bastante mal, ya que cualquier ruido o desconocido puede resultarle amenazante. Necesita crear un vínculo muy sólido para atreverse a explorar y avanzar, y se beneficia muchísimo de la compañía de otro perro que le aporte seguridad. Cuando finalmente consigues ganarte su confianza, es una perrita pizpireta y locuela, a la que le encanta corretear, bañarse, cotillear y observarlo todo a su alrededor. Pero llegar hasta ahí requiere mucho tiempo. Por eso, necesita una familia con mucha paciencia, que entienda que al principio habrá que ir muy despacio.
