adoption requirements adoption process Adopt this animal now! adoption requirements adoption process Lillet has found her luck! Her story: 10 little puppies … who always want to be happy … The little Lillet jumps into the trapo – now there are only 9! One of the little rascals, namely Lillet, would like to be the first to hop into the transporter and travel to her heart's person! The 10 little puppies were found together with their beautiful puppy mom Toni in a street ditch. There they hid from all the dangers that come with a hard life as a Romanian street puppy. Toni took care of her big family devotedly – all by herself, as well as she could. Until one day our engaged helpers found them on site and brought them to safety. In the Fantanele shelter, Lillet grew up in the last few weeks with her 9 siblings into a sweet, lively puppy. The sweet mouse is ready with her luggage to begin her own life – in her own family, which will give her security and share many adventures with her. Currently, Lillet is about 3 months old and will likely grow to be medium-sized. Because Lillet is a little studious, she wants to learn the dog ABC naturally perfectly. But that only works with a lot of patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement – preferably in the company of a competent dog training class. There, the sweet puppy would like to participate in deWelpen play classes and later also learn and play together with her puppy buddies in the young puppy class. In a few months, our little breeze, which is what her name means in Hebrew, will enter puberty. Then, a lot of patience and preparation are needed. One should understand that a "puberty" sometimes doesn't work out the way one would like – and also tests its limits. The hormones go wild, and what has already been learned may be forgotten. But don't worry: This is not a malicious intention, but a completely normal part of young puppy development on the way to adulthood. With patience and the necessary know-how, this phase can be overcome well – and one grows closer to her female dog during this special time. The little one is already impatiently waiting – like a drawn bow – to hop directly into your arms from the trapo! A loving foster home would also be an absolute win for her! She is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas and has an EU pet passport. Are you ready for a breezy and fun life with the little breeze? Thank you Nicole R.! You named Lillet. Date: 10.06.

Danke Nicole R.! Du hast Lillet ihren Namen geschenkt. Stand: 10.06.2025

About Lillet

What life with Lillet looks like

Lillet is a large puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Lillet, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Lillet?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Lillet on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Lillet if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Lillet already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Lillet isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Lillet and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
