09-09-2026 Over Lilly valt eigenlijk nog steeds niets nieuws te vertellen. Daarom wordt ze nog eens uitgelicht. Lilly is er of wel en prettig gestoord aanwezig, of onder het beton. Ze is gelukkig wel al een hele tijd stabiel vrolijk. Dat is geheel te danken aan de vrijwilligers, die er elke dag voor haar zijn. – Lilly houdt van wandelen – Lilly is in eerste instantie voorzichtig, maar daarna vrolijk – Lilly kan zich terugtrekken (onder het beton) – Lilly is doorgaans vrolijk – Lilly kan speels zijn – We zijn voor Lilly wel op zoek naar een foster of adoptant die enige ervaring heeft. Het begin Op 21-04-2022 troffen Giannis en Natalia een krat met een dichte zak aan bij de havenhokken. In de zak zaten 3 pups. Gelukkig wriemelden de pupjes er nog op los en zagen ze er levendig uit. Met nog geen 20 dagen oud (waarschijnlijk) is het veel te vroeg ze bij de moeder weg te halen… maar daar gaf de gulle gever duidelijk niet om. Ze zijn gecheckt, van alle parasieten ontdaan en behandeld en kregen een leven bij Giannis is een kleine puppy ren. Ze waren niet veilig. Op alle plekken heerste Parvo, maar daar had degene die hen achter liet geen rekening mee gehouden. De pups zijn Lilly, Milly en Donny genoemd. 13-06-2022 Lilly, Milly en Donny zijn overgebracht naar de FTS Safe Haven. 07-08-2022 De Singerpups doen het echt heel goed op de FTS Safe Haven. Nadat ze eerst een tijd in een puppyren hebben gewoond en daarna bij de caravan geïntroduceerd zijn bij de grotere honden, zijn ze daarna naar de grote puppyren gegaan. Lilly is de meest verlegen van de drie. Ze is ook heel lief, maar blijft iets meer op afstand. 19-06-2023 Lilly is gesteriliseerd. Ze is niet gewend uit haar kennel te komen en dus vond zij het echt wel een beetje spannend! Ze is gezond, bleek 23kg en herstelt goed. 31-10-2024 Sinds Lilly achter de hekken van de kennels verdwenen is, is zij zeer angstig. De verzorgers doen hun best, maar Lilly is bang en hoewel door vaste verzorgers heel voorzichtig te benaderen, zal ze nog heel lang niet geschikt zijn voor adoptie. Zij schuilt het liefst in een kuil onder de betonplaat en wanneer we bij haar kennelgenoten binnenkomen, is het enige seintje wat we soms van haar krijgen een grommeltje onder het beton vandaan, als we te dichtbij komen. Wanneer we buiten de kennel staan, blaft ze om je weg te jagen. Lilly was zeker niet altijd zo. Ze groeide op bij Giannis, werd vaak in de handen genomen en ook de eerste tijd op de safe haven was zij een gewoon en vast onderdeel van de caravan crew. Pas na haar sterilisatie op 19-06-2023, toen zij achter de kenneldeuren verdween, werd het van kwaad tot erger. We hopen dat de verzorgers voor haar het verschil kunnen maken, want leven in angst is altijd vreselijk. Lilly is op dit moment alleen virtueel te adopteren (redactie: inmiddels is dit weer opgeheven en is ze weer beschikbaar voor adoptie) tot ze weer uit haar schulp is gekropen. Om het leven van Lilly te ondersteunen is Virtuele adoptie van Lilly heel welkom. Een virtueel mandje, een soort van eigen familie maar dan op afstand. 19-12-2024 Vol verbazing over de enorme transformatie van Lilly. Van een hondje met bijna een kennelsyndroom, naar een vrolijk, blij ei, aanhankelijk en aan de lijn meelopen. Dat het WorkAway programma werkt, hebben we al vaker geroepen, maar hoe goed het uitgepakt heeft voor Lilly hadden we nooit kunnen vermoeden. Als (Kerst-)cadeautje haalden wij vanochtend haar status ‘alleen virtueel te adopteren’ achter haar naam vandaan. Natuurlijk zoeken we een ervaren adoptant, maar Lilly mag uitkijken naar haar eigen voor altijd huisje! 31-03-2026 Lilly is zo’n stille aanwezige. Soms is ze dagen onder het beton en soms speelt ze de clown. En soms… mag ze mee naar buiten! Gisteren was zo’n dag. Ze had moeite om door het middenterrein te lopen. Blafte naar de hondjes; die ze wel kent, maar nooit zonder bescherming van het gaas ontmoet. Buiten vond ze het heerlijk.
