Lilo is a very lively, playful female dog. She is 5 years old and came to us from her previous family because she apparently snapped at the landlord. At our shelter, she has been both non-problematic in terms of boarding and also during the short time since being returned. Here are some things about this charming little mouse: She is house trained, can easily be left alone for a while, and enjoys car rides; therefore, she is also ready for outings. Lilo learns very well and works motivated with her humans. Sometimes you have to encourage Lilo. When she's learning, she also has fun doing it. At the same time, she is a very dominant dog, which is why she needs clear rules and consistent, loving leadership. Dog school is a MUST for her, as there are many things she needs to learn; especially staying calm and being patient. She is also compatible with women, children, males, and females, and gets along well with other dogs at appropriate encounters. For Lilo, we wish for a home where she can be both physically and mentally exercised and has people by her side who give her security, structure, and lots of love. We advise every person and family who wants to bring a dog into their lives to seek professional dog training in advance. We can only describe how we got to know her here at the shelter environment. Sie ist 5 Jahre alt und kam aus ihrer alten Familie zu uns, weil sie dem Vermieter wohl in die Hand geschnappt hat. Bei uns war sie sowohl auf Pension nicht auffällig als auch jetzt in der kurzen Zeit seit der Rückgabe. Hier ein paar Dinge über die bezaubernde Maus: Sie ist stubenrein, kann auch problemlos eine zeitlang alleine bleiben und fährt gerne Auto; demnach ist sie auch für Ausflüge bereit. Lilo lernt sehr gerne und arbeitet motiviert mit ihren Menschen zusammen. Manchmal muss man Lilo auch animieren. Wenn sie dann am Lernen ist, hat sie auch Spaß daran. Gleichzeitig ist sie eine sehr dominante Hündin, weshalb sie klare Regeln und eine konsequente, liebevolle Führung benötigt. Hundeschule ist bei ihr ein MUSS, da sie Vieles lernen muss; ganz besonders Ruhe bewahren und Geduld haben. Sie ist außerdem verträglich mit Frauen, Kindern, Rüden und Hündinnen und versteht sich bei passenden Begegnungen gut mit anderen Hunden. Für Lilo wünschen wir uns ein Zuhause, in dem sie sowohl körperlich als auch geistig ausgelastet wird und Menschen an ihrer Seite hat, die ihr Sicherheit, Struktur und ganz viel Liebe schenken. Wir raten jedem Menschen und jeder Familie, die einen Hund bei sich einziehen lassen möchten, sich vorab um eine professionelle Hundeschule zu bemühen.
