Neue Eindrücke und ihm fremde Menschen überfordern Lima noch schnell. Insbesondere vor Männern und Kindern hat er noch große Angst. In solchen Situationen erstarrt oder entzieht er sich. In Hundegesellschaft kann Lima kurze Zeit alleine bleiben, neigt jedoch dazu unbeaufsichtigt Dinge zu zerkauen. Bei seinen Bezugspersonen sucht Lima gerne Nähe und Streicheleinheiten. Hier zeigt er, was für ein liebenswerter Chameur in ihm steckt. Lima ist zuverlässig stubenrein und schläft die Nächte gut durch. Vom Temperament ist Lima ein gemütlicher Charakter, welcher keine sportlichen Ambitionen zeigt.
