Liza II

Mixed Breed · Female · Puppy

Liza II - a gentle curly-haired female dog is looking for a home. Liza II was born in February 2026 and currently lives with her three siblings at the LIDA rescue center in Sardinia. She is a friendly, cheerful dog with a very special appearance. With her current weight of 16 kg and a shoulder height of about 45 cm, Liza II has a nice, manageable size. Her soft fur is reminiscent of a sheep's: she has white curls on her back, while her face is painted in two colors - one side is brown, the other white. Liza II has a very gentle nature. She has not yet known anything except her siblings, no leash, no house or road traffic. She is initially a bit more reserved than her siblings, but people-oriented, friendly and affectionate. At the same time, she is playful, curious and always up for a little fun. That's why we assume she will learn quickly. With her funny and cheerful nature, she will surely bring a lot of joy to her future family. Liza II is currently waiting for her departure in the shelter in Sardinia. We are looking for people who want to show her the world with patience, love and empathy and give her a beautiful, safe home. If Liza II has already won your heart, please click on "Inquire now" and fill out the placement form. If you live in the Rhine-Main area, you can also take Liza II in as a foster dog. Many more dogs are looking for a home... Oscar is friendly and open to people and other dogs. Maya wants her own home at last. Mia San wants a quiet bed for herself. Milly has been waiting for her people for so long.

About Liza II

What life with Liza II looks like

Liza II is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tierschutzverein Hunde in Not Rhein-Main e.V. in Bad Vilbel.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Liza II, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Liza II?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierschutzverein Hunde in Not Rhein-Main e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Liza II on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Liza II if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierschutzverein Hunde in Not Rhein-Main e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Liza II already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Liza II isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierschutzverein Hunde in Not Rhein-Main e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Liza II and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
