Eens ze je kent, komt haar zachte en aanhankelijke karakter helemaal naar boven. Ze komt graag bij je liggen, speelt graag en vindt het heerlijk om samen in de tuin rond te rennen. Lizzy heeft een moeilijke start gehad en werd samen met meerdere honden in beslaag genomen. Ze heeft pups gehad en leefde vroeger met de andere honden in een klein, warm appartement. Vandaag leert ze stap voor stap dat mensen te vertrouwen zijn. Dat vraagt geduld: ook in haar opvang duurde even voordat ze haar mochten aaien. Met andere honden kan ze goed overweg. Door andere honden, is ze net iets minder verlegen en durft ze iets meer. Daarom is een stabiele, sociale reu in haar nieuwe thuis echt een must. Daar kan ze veel steun uit halen. Katten zijn geen probleem. Wandelen gaat steeds beter. Ze loopt goed mee aan een harnas en reageert niet op andere honden. Buiten vindt ze mensen soms nog spannend, maar we zien iedere dag dat ze zich beter voelt op straat. Lizzy is zindelijk, kan samen met andere honden alleen zijn en heeft geen bezitsdrang rond speelgoed. Ze zoekt vooral mensen die haar tijd, rust en vertrouwen willen geven. Voor een gezin met oudere kinderen vanaf ongeveer 16 jaar kan ze eventueel geschikt zijn. Lizzy is geen hond die meteen haar hart geeft. Maar wie haar de tijd geeft om vertrouwen op te bouwen, krijgt een lieve, speelse en trouwe vriendin voor het leven. ❤️
